We are looking for an Application Support Specialist who will support and maintain Fundserv’s production environment for all application related issues.

In this role, you will…
- Troubleshoot issues and implement requests by analyzing, coordinating, planning and organizing using experience in computer software programs & systems (e.g. XML, UNIX, CRT, GUI tools) in order to provide resolutions and ensure high quality service delivery.
- Utilize discretion and judgment in troubleshooting, implementations, resolutions and escalation.
- Ensure that issues that have been assigned to the team for resolution are addressed in a timely manner and escalating where required.
- Foster interactive working relationship with all other Fundserv departments as required.
- Ensure compliance with all Fundserv operations, policies and procedures such as Security and Audit controls.
- Provide 24/7 support on a rotational basis with other team members.
Why you are the person we’re looking for…
You’ve demonstrated the ability to do the following, gained through education and/or experience:
- Troubleshoot complex authentication and authorization issues.
- Communicate effectively with Developers using coding samples to explain API related issues.
- Comfortable working in a Cloud environment using your knowledge of Azure fundamentals such as VMs, VLANs, data storage, APIs, etc.
- Make recommendations based on your understanding of security best practices as they relate to production support, including SAML based authentication, IAM concepts and solutions.
- Comfortable working with Linux/Unix servers and related technology including shell scripting.
- Support issues with file transfers using your knowledge of FTP, SFTP, FTPS, and MFT.
- Support application components with modern integration technology such as APIs, REST, and Websphere MQ.
