Product Owner

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner (PO) responsible for driving the strategic prioritization and successful execution of key initiatives within Fundserv. This role focuses on maximizing value creation by translating high-level business goals into actionable business cases, roadmaps and backlogs.

In this role, you will…

  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify and prioritize features/functionality to align initiatives with the organization’s strategic objectives
  • Evaluate and balance business needs, resource constraints, and impact potential to develop a prioritized backlog of initiatives
  • Build Business Cases for new initiatives with trackable KPIs
  • Create and maintain multiple backlogs
  • Act as the primary liaison between Business stakeholders and Project, BA and development teams, ensuring that stakeholder needs and priorities are clearly communicated and understood
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly evaluating processes, tools, and workflows, and making recommendations for improvements

You’ve demonstrated the ability to do the following, gained through education and/or experience:

  • Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships, with an ability to resolve conflicting priorities
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in product management, project execution, and operational excellence
  • Develop robust business cases for new initiatives, outlining the benefits, risks, resource requirements, and potential return on investment (ROI) to support decision-making
  • Effectively prioritize a backlog of initiatives
  • Identify, create and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Create clear, actionable user stories that align with business goals and user needs.
