We are looking for a Communications Specialist to support the execution of our internal, external and crisis Corporate Communications’ strategies helping drive excellence and uphold our values and brand reputation internally and externally.

In this role, you will…
- Support internal business partners by creating and executing communication plans that help Fundserv achieve business goals, driving strategy, shaping culture, increasing engagement and delivering results.
- Support the execution of external communications for various projects and initiatives ensuring accuracy, and consistency with Fundserv’s values and brand.
- Write and edit creatively effective materials for internal and external audiences in a variety of formats (e.g., newsletters, presentations, key messages, email messages, intranet articles, video scripts, Q&A, user guides etc.).
- Work closely with graphics designer to ensure the final communications output is crisp and effective.
- Set-up, review and release communications using internal and external communications tools, tracking and reporting on metrics when required.
- Assist with incident and crisis communications work before during and after an event, coordinating with key departments to gather accurate information in line with business continuity objectives.
- Prepare, edit and release incident/crisis communications across relevant channels.
Why you are the person we’re looking for…
You’ve demonstrated the ability to do the following, gained through education and/or experience:
- Experience developing and executing on marketing and/or communications plans.
- Proficiency with and knowledge of Microsoft Windows/MS Office Applications, Microsoft SharePoint, Adobe Creative Cloud applications, CRM marketing tools and WordPress.
- Ability to create content and craft key messages from business strategy and initiatives, simplifying complex content into easy-to-understand communications when necessary.
- A strong writer, with experience in speech writing and/or blog ghost writing.
- Experience working with and writing for various communication channels.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with strong writing and proven editorial abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with knowledge of project management
- Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
The following is not required but will be a bonus:
- Knowledge and/or experience in the technology and/or financial-services industry is a strong asset.
- Familiarity with design tools, including those in Adobe Creative Cloud is an asset.
- Bilingualism (English/French) an asset.
