Senior Business Continuity Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Business Continuity Analyst who will act as the BCM subject matter expert and contribute to the BCM success by leading the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of Fundserv’s Business Continuity capabilities.

In this role, you will…

  • Lead and contribute to the development and maintenance of the enterprise-wide business continuity, crisis, and emergency management policies, plans, standards, and guidelines
  • Coordinate and support Fundserv’s participation in external/industry driven business continuity management activities
  • Facilitate business impact analysis and development of associated continuity strategies across various business and IT groups
  • Promote a positive risk management and operational resilience culture and support BCM education initiatives
  • Contribute to establishing and maintaining program processes and practices which ensure that the enterprise program remains current and incorporates/aligns with industry standards and practices, and adequately covers general regulatory requirements
  • Work with stakeholders to organize, develop, and facilitate annual and quarterly business continuity and crisis management exercises
  • Provide guidance and direction to internal teams to ensure their business continuity processes are in accordance with enterprise-wide business continuity management and/or emergency management program and quality standards
  • Participates as business continuity subject matter expert in support of other initiatives to achieve risk management objectives

Why you are the person we’re looking for…

You’ve demonstrated the ability to do the following, gained through education and/or experience:

  • Successfully drive business continuity management, crisis management, emergency management best practices in a technology based environment.
  • Apply operational risk and resilience, business process improvement methods as well as risk related control frameworks and practices (COCO, COSO, ISO, ITIL, CMM, COBIT, etc.)
  • Communicate key messaging in an organized and engaging manner to internal/external stakeholder groups.
  • Organize and facilitate cross-functional working sessions and exercises.
  • Develop BCM programs and drive them forward with internal/external stakeholders. Leverage BCM knowledge to influence departmental resilience practices.
  • Exercise ownership over processes, and identify and implement opportunities for improvement.

The following is not required but will be a bonus:

  • Experience preparing, obtaining, and maintaining ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management Certification

Fundserv will cover the cost of maintaining the above certifications your business continuity management certification (for example, DRII or BCI).
